Timboel is an award-winning artist and sculptor from the village of Kasongan in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He is best known for his large-scale masterpieces like his Pipe Sculptures featuring Bulls and Mustangs. The sculptures are made from reclaimed cut pipes that are individually placed and welded together to create astonishing, complex forms. He works with all forms of metal, including aluminum castings of dresses, humans, and animals. Each piece is hand-sculpted from sheets of metal and clay, and after a thorough polish, the sculptures come to life.

+ Aluminum works outdoors and is not prone to rust, but has a high affinity to oxygen and will eventually oxidize. This develops a hardened white-colored coating across the surface of the metal, infusing your piece with authentic natural beauty and additional protection. Depending on conditions, this process occurs between 1-12 months of outdoor exposure.
